James Fitgerald

Fitzgerald is currently concluding his duties and responsibilities as Chief of Staff for the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development in Washington, D.C.  A native of Washington State, he also served as the State Executive Director for the USDA Farm Service Agency from 2001 through 2006.

 

Prior to 2001, he was President and owner of Fitzgerald Farms, Inc. of Clarkston, Washington and a fourth generation farmer. He also previously worked for the Federal Land Bank of Spokane out of the Chehalis, Washington and Lewiston, Idaho locations. Fitzgerald is a graduate of Washington State University.  He will assume his duties in late July and will reside in Cheney, Washington.

Steve Harris

Steve Harris resides on the north side of Spokane with his wife and son.  Steve served in the U.S. Army for 22 years, specializing in Communication Electronics and Military Intelligence.  He has lived in Europe, Asia and South America during his military career.  After serving his country, he retired in his home town Spokane and returned to college for a new career as an Accountant.  Steve worked several years as a Safety Consultant, Electronic Technician and limited Software Application Designer.  His hobbies include golf, scuba diving, traveling, and computers (of course).

Carie Eckhart comes to us from the insurance industry and has strong skill in computers.  Carie grew up on a wheat farm south of Deer Park, Washington.
